Four Iranian short films are scheduled to be screened at the Ojai Film Festival in the United States.

‘Not Yet’ directed by Arian Vazir Daftari, Kaveh Mazaheri’s ‘Retouch’, ‘Lunch Time’ by Alireza Ghasemi and Moslem Tabatabaee’s ‘Light Sight’ are Iran’s representatives in the American event.

‘Not Yet’ tells the story of a middle-aged couple who try to celebrate their expatriate young daughter’s birthday via a popular social networking application.

‘Lunch Time’ is about a 16-year-old girl who is tasked with the arduous bureaucracy of having to identify the body of her mother.

Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

‘Light Sight’ is the story of a creature named M.E. who is enamored by a white light outside of its room.

Lanched in 2000, the Ojai Film Festival provides audiences a diverse lineup of titles from around the world.

Past entries have represented over 43 countries. The Ojai Film Festival gives filmmakers access to a highly appreciative audience of savvy and informed film fans.

The event is to be launched on November 2-12, 2017 in California.
